SABOTAGE

Noa Aharoni's 2022 documentary SABOTAGE is currently playing festivals around the world. It is a story of feminine heroism, resistance, and tragedy told through the eyes of Anna Wajcblum Heilman, youngest member of the women's resistance. Under the horrific inferno of Auschwitz, Anna writes a diary describing the dramatic story of the women's resistance, the camaraderie, and the friendship between them.

SABOTAGE was the winner of the Best Mid Length Documentary Award at the 2022 Israeli Documentary Forum Awards.

On April 6th, 2025, Ariela took part in an online discussion The Legacy of Women's
Resistance in Auschwitz. 2025 marked the 80th anniversary of the liberation of
Auschwitz-Birkenau. This program focuses on the experience of
women in one of the most infamous camps in the Nazi regime
and in the public memory.
